I love French toast for breakfast, usually a weekend breakfast when I have a bit more time to put something a bit more special like this together – not during the week when life is so hectic, I’m basically eating a slice of toast as I go out the front door! This Vegan Banana French Toast recipe doesn’t differ too much from the non-vegan version, it’s pretty much just swapping out the dairy milk with a non-dairy alternative (and no egg obviously) – I use almond milk which is my personal vegan milk of choice.
The caramelized bananas add a bit of extra indulgence to the meal and they really are gorgeous.
