Place the cashews and water (not the additional) into a pot, and bring this to a boil. Boil for a few minutes, or until the cashews are tender. Grab a hand blender and puree it until completely smooth. To make the process easier start to gradually add in the additional water. You might need more or less, all depending on what texture you wish the dip to be. Add in all the other ingredients and blend until smooth. Store any left-overs in the fridge, and it will hold nicely for at least 1 week!
